With the holiday season upon us, it’s important to give thanks and think about how we can give back.
The holiday season often fosters a greater sense of giving, and we as a firm believe it is important to do so. This month we want to highlight some organizations and initiatives that we contribute to. We want to dedicate our third post to an initiative through the United States Postal Service: Operation Santa.

Ever wondered if anything happens to the letters sent to the North Pole?
Thousands of letters are mailed to Santa every year and the USPS provides the opportunity for those wish lists to get granted. Starting in September, letters for the North Pole are gathered, reviewed, and come November are posted online to be adopted. All personal information is removed, except for first names. Letters from the same household are bundled together as a “family”. You have the option to adopt an individual letter or a whole family’s. Once you have purchased gifts for your letter recipient, you bring them wrapped to a participating USPS location to send to the correct address. Answering the letters remains anonymous to maintain privacy and keep the spirit of Santa alive!
