It’s fall 2022, and there are new Interns at KB Advisory Group (Part Two)
Let’s welcome Yuxiang! Yuxiang Zhao also joins KB Advisory Group as an Intern Analyst this fall. Yuxiang is in the Master of City and Regional Planning program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His specialization is Urban Design; courses focus on architectural concepts used to design urban places and the plans and policies to support those designs.
A little bit about Yuxiang
Yuxiang was born in Luoyang, China. His previous degree is in Urban and Rural Planning from Xinyang Agriculture and Forestry University in China. Before enrolling at Tech, Yuxiang held a position with the Provincial Urban Planning Institute of Luoyang. While there, he acquired essential technical skills in ArcGIS and Adobe programs for visualization. Yuxiang also researched integrating transportation, infrastructure, and other public services for various business districts.
Yuxiang’s previous Internship
KB is Yuxiang’s second Internship. His previous experience with the Georgia Tech Eco Urban Lab focused on Atlanta Airport City. Yuxiang’s responsibilities include the GIS (geographic information systems) data analysis, interpretation, and visual expression for land use planning and transportation.
Just a few more details about Yuxiang
To date, Yuxiang considers the successful realization of the projects he participated in to be his biggest academic and career highlights. When asked if there is anything about him that might surprise others, Yuxiang responded, “I don’t think anything can happen to me that would surprise anyone!” His idea of fun when not working is to watch the sunset from a hilltop.
